The Faux-Hawk

While I was getting Braden a snack this afternoon, he discovered the jar of Vaseline was unattended. He proceeded to take off the lid, smear his fingers in it and rub it all over his head. By the time I handed him his cup of Goldfish crackers, this was the new do he gave himself. Quite creative, I think.

Mommy and Her Boys

Today was picture day! Grandma was nice enough to help wrangle her grandsons at the photo shoot. It was a good thing. Grandpa assisted with taking a few informal snapshots at home before we left. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! We literally could not have done it without you!!!

New Wheels

Grandpa and Braden enjoyed a spin around the kitchen island today on Braden's new bike. Grandpa was nice enough to get the bike fixed up so it fit Braden just right.

More bike pictures to come with Braden sporting his Thomas the Tank Engine (of course) bicycle helmet. Let the good times roll!

Fun With Friends

Dan, the man, flashing his charasmatic smile.

Braden saying "Byyyyyyyye" to his new buddy, Aiden.

Old friends, Danny and Braden playing together.

Aiden drinking down a little mid-morning beverage.

Cousin Visit

We enjoyed a visit with family last weekend at Auntie Meredith's house. Fun was had by all and we especially loved playing with our baby cousin, Ellie!!! Hard to believe that Auntie Kim managed to snap of picture of photogenic Elle WITHOUT her matching black and white hair bow.

Eight month old Elle playing in her exersaucer.
Braden working the ball popper- an old favorite.

Pajanimals

I remember as a kid my mom dressing my sisters and me alike. I hated it! But by the time I had two little sisters, I was old enough to know that being dressed alike was embarrassing. So I figured I'd get to my boys before they know any better. It appears that Karma has caught up with me because this was the best "matching pj's picture" I could get. Braden and Kelan are on to me already. Very funny!

Guy Smiley

Kelan is getting "SO BIG"! Mommy, in particular, is enjoying his conversational personality. Lots of consonant and vowel sounds. He's also working on sleeping through the night; we're down to (knock on wood) one feeding at around 2:30 a.m. Hooray!
