Marking a Moment

Simple footage of the boys at our park just before Kelan's first birthday.

Kelan's Gym

Like a fish to water, Kelan has taken right to his newest endeavor- My Gym. I knew I'd found the right activity to challenge him, when on his first day of class, Kelan crawled over to the kiddie rock wall, and totally unassisted, climbed to the top. His adventuresome and athletic nature is fun to watch now, but I'm already foreseeing the day my two teenage sons conspire to escape their house, undetected, by climbling out their bedroom windows onto the roof. Am I getting ahead of myself? It's a mom's job to worry... and plan ahead!

Cars and Trucks and Things That Go

Braden taking in the sights on the way home.

An afternoon snack.

Telling Mommy everything he knows about trains.

Last Sunday, Braden and I boarded Amtrak with Grandpa headed for San Francisco. Our destination in the City was At&t Park, home of the Giants. Mommy wanted to suit up the family for the new baseball season. Braden could have cared less about the baseball stadium. When I was describing it to him all he kept asking was, "more train, Mommy?". Grandpa indulged his 2 year old grandson with an all day travel excursion that included trains, BART, buses and Muni (oh my!). Braden loved every minute of it. He didn't even complain about the rainy weather in between stops and stations.
Thanks, Grandpa. It was a memorable day for both of us.
